Hey everyone!

I'm new here obviously, haha.  I don't really know what to write in these things, as ...well... I write most of what's going on in my deviantart journal once a month.   Who knows how I'll react when faced with posting more than once monthly?!

There may be undue drama!

There may be things that no one cares about!

There may be puppies.....!!

No seriously.  Puppies are awesome.
But anyway, my life is pretty boring overall, so there's probably going to be a lot of writing about what I think, and not a lot about what I actually do.
Since I don't know what to post, let's talk about therian....-ism.   If that's a word.
Although I know my icon is of a fox, I'm a wolf therian.
I'm not into everything that all therians are into, obviously, but I am pretty interested in dream shifting/lucid dreaming.
I used to be able to do lucid dreaming more frequently when I was younger...I wonder why that is?  But however it was, I hope I'll be able to do it more now, as well...  I remember something about being able to create a spinning sensation with my mind to send me into sleep voluntarily, but I haven't been able to do it recently ('Recently' being, in this case, a few years).  What I have been able to do a little bit is make a tunnel that feels like it's coming from right between my eyes and I'm falling foreward into it, though this doesn't work as well.   Sometimes even, I'll be right in the middle of a dream and realize then that I'm dreaming, but this has only happened a couple times.

As for being a therian in general,  I don't have the 'ghost appendages' like many do, where they can  feel the sensation of real wings or tails or what have you.  The only thing I can feel that's a little different from normal is when my ears respond to things (A sound only my subconscious picks up on, or my emotions)  and they tilt backwards; either one or both of them,  and it feels like they're longer than they are, but they are physically moving at the same time too.
I wonder if other people feel that way with things they can already move too?
I do have the emotion triggered animal reflexes a lot of therians I hear about have, though...  I'll bark or snarl accidentally when I'm unpleasantly surprised by something,  and if that thing is close to my face when I'm surprised, I'll bite it without thinking.  I'll also do an angry grimace/ showing of teeth/tongue if I'm upset, but I generally try not to do that in a place where it would be seen as socially inept.  (I am pretty self-conscious, so I don't want people to think of me badly)  I also kinda... wag....myself, when I'm happy to see someone or something, but that looks less un-natural and more just happy, ahah.
And when I'm alone, (And sad, or bored, or just feel like it, but it has to be alone) I'll also howl.  It really does make me feel better (Something about the vocal vibrations and controlled breathing is calming maybe?), so I keep it up that way.

I know Pohodai is mah only friend right now on LJ, but it would be interesting to also hear the habits and experiences of anyone reading this <3   And y'know.  If there's anyone that hates therians and just wants to rant, I'll hear that too  XD  I like to hear the reasons why people think the way they do.

Well, that's it for now, I guess!

I'll maybe draw some pictures for next time too, depends on how much I've got left to do of commissions/presents etc.

Today marks the passing of the 21st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which repealed Prohibition. It might seem crazy to us now, but alcohol was illegal in the U.S. for 13 years. What common vice do you think is most likely to be outlawed in the future?

Probably...smoking.   Since it's known to cause cancer and is generally...not good for you.  Though, I think there will be a long and hard fight for this issue.
